Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using ChunkDeck, and by accessing this website, you agree to these terms of service. If you don't agree to any part of these terms, please don't use ChunkDeck or this website.

For residents of the European Union and other GDPR-covered regions: by using this website, you consent to the processing of data as described in our Privacy Policy, including the use of non-essential cookies and analytics where present. You can withdraw consent anytime.

License

MIT License

ChunkDeck is released under the MIT License, which allows you to:

  • Use the software for any purpose (commercial or personal)
  • Copy, modify, and distribute ChunkDeck
  • Use it in your own projects

The only requirement is that you include the original copyright notice and license text when you distribute the software.

Disclaimer of warranties

ChunkDeck is provided "as is" without any warranties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide ChunkDeck without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Warranties that defects will be fixed

You assume all responsibility for using ChunkDeck and for any consequences that result from its use.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall the creators or maintainers of ChunkDeck be liable for any damages, including:

  • Loss of data, files, or worlds
  • Loss of revenue or profits
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

This applies even if we've been notified of the possibility of such damages.

Your responsibilities

When you use ChunkDeck, you agree to:

  • Secure your server: You are responsible for protecting your ChunkDeck installation with a strong password and keeping it secure. If you expose it to the internet, use HTTPS and consider a VPN like Tailscale
  • Back up your data: While ChunkDeck includes backup features, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important world and server data
  • Comply with Minecraft's EULA: You agree to use ChunkDeck in accordance with Minecraft's End User License Agreement
  • Respect other users' rights: Don't use ChunkDeck for harassment, abuse, or to infringe on others' rights
  • Follow applicable laws: You are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws when using ChunkDeck

Minecraft and Mojang

ChunkDeck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or created by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a registered trademark of Mojang Studios. We respect all intellectual property rights and comply with Minecraft's terms of service.

Third-party content

ChunkDeck may link to or integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Modrinth (for plugins and mods)
  • playit.gg (for remote access)
  • GitHub (for source code and updates)
  • Discord (for community support)

We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of these third-party services. Use them at your own discretion and review their terms and privacy policies.

Termination

There's nothing for us to "terminate" — you can stop using ChunkDeck at any time. If you believe you've found a security issue or serious bug, please report it responsibly on GitHub or email admin@chunkdeck.dev.

GDPR compliance

ChunkDeck and this website comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar privacy laws worldwide:

  • We collect minimal data and only with your explicit consent for non-essential tracking
